CONTEXT

What problem are we trying to solve?

SNCF Connect came with a broad problem to introduce teams to the hackathon.

INITIAL RESEARCH

Turns out that the frenchies are not that green!

Cars are the dominant means of transport in France, deeply embedded in daily mobility habits.

74%

of French people use their car to commute to work

54%

of trips under 20 km are made by a single driver

Cars remains largely preferred to reach train station over other means of transport.
